Boruto and Kara
The Kara is the secret organization that is run by an Otsutsuki. He came to earth with Kaguya. Isshiki Otsutsuki lived inside Jigen and manipulated the ranks of Kara. Amado and Kashin Koji are high ranking members of Kara. Both have been in the group to take down the Otsutsuki. The Ultimate Goal of Otsutsuki is to eat the Chakra Fruit and evolve themselves. Otsutsuki is very hard to kill as well.
As we know, when Momoshiki Otsutsuki was killed by Boruto, he didn’t die. Boruto received a mark called Karma. After Amado left Kara and took protection from Leaf Village, he revealed key information about Karma. This mark is the backup life of an Otsutsuki. When they are about to die, Otsutsuki creates a copy of themselves and plant it on a nearby vessel. Soon, the file starts to get extracted and when the extraction is complete, the Otsutsuki is revived.
Jigen and Kawaki are the vessels of Isshiki Otsutsuki. Isshiki was on the brink of death at the hands of Kaguya Otsutsuki. In a desperate attempt to survive, he lived inside the brain of Jigen. Later, he gave Jigen the Karma. However, Jigen is not capable enough as a vessel. That is why Kawaki was recruited as the vessel. That is why Kawaki is so important to Jigen (taken over by Isshiki) to protect.
In the last chapter, Jigen’s body was destroyed forever as Isshiki Otsutsuki activated Karma. Due to this revival, Jigen is lost forever. This desperate activation happened due to Kashin Koji. The clone of Jiraya, probably created by Amado, Kashin Koji had pushed him to the limits. Koji is a curious character who has a decisive plan to take down Isshiki. Due to this Karma activation, Kawaki has also been saved.
In the upcoming chapter, we could see the end of Isshiki. Its a possibility but the plan could fail too. Koji is very strong but Otsutsuki is pretty much immortal. This makes it hard to just burn him in the flames and kill him. We have no idea what the technique saved for this task is.
The events of the last chapter were confusing. At the start, Kawaki was going to be the main villain. But he has lost Karma now. How will the manga turn him into the main antagonist? Let’s find out in the coming chapters!
