The 2018 anime series ‘That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime’ is an adaptation of a novel series by Fuse with the same name. The series is about a man who was killed and then gets reincarnated in another world as a slime. The first episode aired on 2nd October, 2018. After the successful completion of 24 episodes, they have returned with a Season 2. They have also confirmed an English dubbed version which will be produced by Crunchyroll productions.
What does season 2 have for us?
Firstly, the story revolves around Satoru Mikami, a 37-year-old man who is facing lows in his life and is a worker in a corporate company. One day, he gets killed during a mugging but ends up being born as a slime monster in another world who can consume others with his powers. He chooses to live a healthy life instead, thinking it as a blessing. Season 2 will be around him using his powers. Now, we will have to wait to find out whether he turns into a devil or chooses to be a hero.

There is no announcement regarding the official date but originally it was supposed to hit the screens in October 2020. The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a delay and now the season will probably be released in early April 2021. We will inform you as soon as we get any details. Hence, for further updates, stay tuned.
