Minecraft Dungeons: Release Date, Trailer – A New Game From Minecraft Creators

Developed by Mojang Studios and Double Eleven, ‘Minecraft Dungeons’ is a video game which is a spinoff of Minecraft which was released for Nintendo, PS4, Windows, and Xbox One. The game was supposed to be a single-player but after various developments, it was made into a multiplayer game. Let us have a look at the details of the game.

Synopsis and Developments:

‘Minecraft Dungeons’ is featured in a dungeon crawler unlike ‘Minecraft’ which was subjected to an open world. In this, dungeons are filled with monsters and dealing with various puzzles, traps, and finding a treasure. Moreover, it has features like online multiplayer and local 4 players.

Firstly, the game revolves around the story of Archie who stumbles upon an artifact that gives him powers but it turns him into a devil because he was always rejected by everyone he ever met. As a result, he goes on to take revenge against everyone and forces villagers as his slaves. The players have to face Archie known as ‘Arch-illager’ and take away the powers from Archie freeing him from the orb’s influence. In conclusion, they save Archie but in the end, it shows that the Orb is rebuilding itself. On 28th September 2018, the game was announced in Minecon live and in E3 2019 the video of gameplay was released.


Minecraft Dungeons Trailer:

On 26th, May 2020 the trailer was released on the Minecraft YouTube channel showing the gameplay of the action-adventure game with a good glimpse of the graphics and the VFX. It has already crossed 2.5 million views. You can watch the trailer below.

Minecraft Dungeons Release Date:

The game was released on 26th May 2020 along with its launch trailer. The official date was during April 2020 but the release had to be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. From 25th March to 24th April, a beta version was set up for a trial run. We will update you as soon as we get any more details. For more such updates, stay tuned.
