Sony finally stated the Pre-Order in the US, but with a catch. The PlayStation 5 Pre-Order is invite-only. Current PlayStation users can register to get the invitation to pre-order the next-generation PlayStation 5.
According to Sony, you need an existing PlayStation Network ID to get the invite, and the shipping is only in the US and only the limited stoke will be available, Sony advise that those who receive the invitation need to be quick as the orders will be taken on first-come-first-server basics.
The invitation comes with the instruction on how to place the order, but having an invite doesn’t guarantee that you will able to pre-order the new PS5, as stock for consoles, DualSense controllers, and accessories are limited in numbers and there’s also a limit you can order form one PlayStation Network ID. Any order outside the US will automatically be canceled.
There are also rumors that Sony may hold a PlayStation event on September 9. This date incidentally completes the 25 years of the first PlayStation going for sale in the US.
The new PlayStation 5 is likely to go on sale in November in the US, there’s a hint that in the event Sony can reveal more gameplays as well as provide the full info os PS5, like hardware, features, UI system, launch date, and price. Gameplay for 10 party titles will also be revealed, including Spider-Man Miles Morales, Ratchet and Clank, Gran Tourismo 7, Demons Souls, Godfall, and Returnal. We can see a new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West and other games.
Accessories you can get with PlayStation 5
- PS5 DualSense controller
This is one of the accessories with is revealed before the PS5 console itself back in April. Sony promises to make games more immersive with the DualSense, using features like haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. PS5 Will also have support for USB hard drives. In the wireless Connectivity, Sony PS5 can offer Wi-Fi 6 which is an improvement over the PS4. For the Bluetooth, we can get the 5.1 version which is a great improvement over PS4 4.0 Bluetooth.
