World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is the 8th edition pack of a multiplayer online role-playing game, following the Battle of Azeroth. It is scheduled for release on October 27, 2020.
The World of Warcraft: Shadowlands has some major changes in comparison to its previous edition which leads to its storage size around 100gb which is an awful lot but in comparison to some modern AAA titles which can lead to around 200gb. The important part to remember in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands is that you will need an SSD to run it.
SSD “solid-state drives” that uses integrated circuit assemblies to store data, some SSD have there owned RAM while your magnetic HDD which use a magnetic header to read and write data. SSD’s are much faster and performance comes at a price, an SSD can cost up to 4 times an HDD comparable capacity.
World of Warcraft: Shadowlands comes out on October 27, means you have around 2 months to upgrade your systems and buy an SSD, and if you are a gamer you should upgrade to an SSD, and if you have some budget you can consider an M.2 drive this is faster then SSD and directly connects to your motherboard and comes in a small factor.
M.2 drives are of mainly 2 types SATA and NVMe, SATA M.2 is the same as your SSD but it connects the PCIe slot of your motherboard which makes it a little faster but it just saves some space in your cabinet, whereas your NVMe M.2 is a drive which works on your PCIe slots which make it much faster.
