Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 51 Preview

If you thought Jigen was strong, the latest Boruto chapter showed that Isshiki is a monster. Kashin Koji and Amado unleashed a monster that was under control in the weak body of Jigen. Isshiki Otsutsuki was not revived in the best circumstances but he is making the most out of it. Boruto made a quick move and teleported him to a different dimension so that Konoha is not destroyed in the conflict. Naruto and Sasuke followed using the Rinnegan of Sasuke. However, as it turns out, both Sasuke and Naruto are no match for Isshiki Otsutsuki.

Boruto saved Sasuke as Isshiki was about to kill Sasuke mercilessly. I am sure Sasuke didn’t need the help but this move revealed that Isshiki cannot mortally attack Boruto at this point. Boruto: Naruto Next Generations Chapter 51 is set to release on October 20, 2020. This chapter will feature the fight between Boruto and Isshiki and in this instance, he is the only one in the way of Isshiki. They only need a few days before Isshiki dies because he cannot survive after reviving himself using a weak body like Jigen as the vessel.

Isshiki Otsutsuki is as inhuman as the rest of his clan. He is very confident in his powers and Naruto and Sasuke struggle to even land a strike on him at this point. Isshiki just plans on killing the Hokage and the others in this dimension so that he can easily get Kawaki from Konoha later. Isshiki Otsutsuki also has a very powerful Dojutsu that is not seen in the series yet. Along with the ability to shrink inanimate objects, he can summon heavy objects from the other dimension in an instant. It is a very unusual technique but I am sure it has a weakness that can be exploited.

Kawaki lost his Karma marking after Isshiki revived himself. It is a safety feature of this Jutsu so that cloning is not possible for the Otsutsuki. While Kawaki is now safe, Boruto is in grave danger. Isshiki was able to tell that the Karma on Boruto is about 70-80% unlocked and it is only a matter of time before Momoshiki takes full control of his body. Amado also mentioned previously that there is no way to stop this process and Boruto will lose his life soon. I am sure that they will figure something out but this is something to consider for the future.

Setting that aside for the future, in this battle, Boruto is going to be the key. He is the vessel of Momoshiki and Isshiki will think twice before killing a fellow Otsutsuki. As expected, this will be the battle between Boruto and Isshiki as Sasuke and Naruto are getting overpowered every time. Boruto is not powerful himself but with the Karma powers from Momoshiki and the handicap for Isshiki, there might be a chance for Boruto to create an opening for a joint attack from Naruto and Sasuke. It will be interesting to see how this battle turns out.
