The Masked Singer Season 4: Behind the Show, Judges, and More

One of the most awaited shows of America: The Masked Singer has come to end with its release. It seems like just yesterday that some crazy characters of all-new avatar came to a planet known as planet Earth, and yet somehow, we’ve already endured three entire seasons of the show, and now it is time for continuing its sequel with another season – which is Season 4.

The fourth season of the TV series premiered on Fox on September 23, 2020.

What The Show Is All About?

A glance of THE MASKED SINGER

The Masked Singer is an American reality competition of best voice talent showcased through singing, premiered on Fox on January 2, 2019. This is the first non-Asian adaptation of the Masked Singer with hidden faces. The program employs several Judges like Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg, Nicole Scherzinger, and Robin Thicke which is hosted by Nick Cannon. Wrapping up the episode, the judges and an audience vote for their favorite singer followed by taking off their mask to reveal their identity the least voted or liked is eliminated.

Will Judges Change?

Yeah!! Cheer up Guys, No one is replacing anybody this season. The host is still holding the same position Nick Cannon and Nicole Scherzinger, Ken Jeong, Robin Thicke, and Jenny McCarthy will return as panelists or Judges.

Story Behind the release of the show

On May 6, 2020, an announcement was made by FOXabout the show being renewed for a fourth season with a targeted fall 2020 premiere.

On July 29, 2020 airing during the Ultimate Tag season finale that same night, the first teaser for the season was released. Also, it was supposed to begin production within the next six weeks in order to premiere the season in September, however, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the schedule got changed.

On July 7, 2020, it was revealed that all the members including host Cannon and panelists McCarthy, Jeong, Thicke, and Scherzinger are the same.

On August 19, 2020, it was decided that there would be a virtual audience over Zoom instead of being in-person.

On August 26, 2020, it was announced that the season would air a sneak peek on September 13, followed by revealing 14 of the season’s 16 costumes, and the official premiere on September 23.
