Criminal Justice Season 2: Release Date and Recap Exclusive

Criminal Justice is a thrill crime show that came out last year among the Indian web series on 5 April 2019, creating a significant and bold presence. The audience was throbbed by its storyline and how everything was smoothly managed between the boundaries of jail and the world outside. Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and crafted by Shridhar Raghavan, the show gave us a charming pleasure from the beginning, starring non-other than:

  • Pankaj Tripathi as Madhav Mishra, Advocate
  • Jackie Shroff as Mustafa, Aditya’s fellow cellmate
  • Anupriya Goenka as Nikhat Hussain

Every star performed their role very well in this series. Pankaj Tripathi made his role a bit lazy and played as an advocate who is struggling every day to earning his living. His starching body parts, mainly foot, was something that amused us a lot. The role of Aditya being bullied was intriguing for the audience as well.

The story revolves around a boy named Aditya. He belongs to a very decent family, and everything was going well. He used to drive a car cab for some extra earning. The story starts one night when he picks up a girl costumer and drops her to her destination. But she leaves her cell phone in his car, so Aditya drives back to return, proving his innocence.

The girl he met last night got murdered, and every available evidence from her phone’s location and the camera pointed towards Aditya. Later on, he gets arrested, and his family starts looking for an advocate. Aditya’s life becomes hell facing criminal charges. Also, some people sought attention as he seemed quite decent, but seeing the rejection from his side, made them take revenge and bully him. After a lot of tantrums and court appeals, proving every evidence from his side, he battled and battled hard.

Season 2 Air Date

From the announcement made, BBC Studios India’s production flashed a green light to Season 2, but Disney Hotstar VIP still hasn’t made any statement clear, leaving many people confused. The production for the second installment of the show may have already started. There is no air date or a trailer for the second season yet. This could be taken as a promising sign as the creators might be planning to have a sudden release for better hype.

Aditya had gotten out of the criminal charges at the end of the first season. It took him a long time to prove his innocence to the police and everyone else involved.
