For Life is a new TV Show that premiered on ABC on 11 February 2020. It is a thriller. A crime drama is based on the real-life case of Isaac Wright Jr. He was wrongfully convicted on drug charges and went on to become an attorney. He helped several wrongful convicted fellow inmates and set them free before finally proving his own innocence.
Season 1 was premiered on 11 February 2020, with 13 episodes having approximately 45 minutes. Many of the fans have been waiting to release the second new season to know what happens next? Well, It did not take long. Season 2 is set to premiere on 18 November 2020. Most of the previous cast will return and listed as follows:
- Aaron Wallace, Nicholas Pinnock, is the protagonist and convicted of drug trafficking.
- Indira Varma, as Safiya Masry, she is the warden of the prison and helps Wallace.
- Joy Brant is Marie Wallace, Aaron’s wife. She is a nice lady. She is sympathetic toward his husband; she also feels a need to move on and leave him in the past. She enters a new relationship with one of his friends.
- As Anya Harrison, Safiya’s wife, Mary Stuart Masterson, is currently running for Attorney general of New York state.
- Dorian Crossmond Missick as Jamal Bishop, He is a good friend of Aaron in prison. He helps Aaron to prepare cases.
- Tyla Harris, as Jasmine Wallace, is the daughter of Aaron. She believes in her father and has never stopped dreaming of him returning home one day.
- Glenn Fleshler as Frank Foster, a senior officer at the prison. He and fellow guards dislike Aaron.
- As Henry Roswell, Timothy Busfield is a former New York state senator who assists Aaron in his pursuit to become a lawyer and later helps him prepare to argue in court.
What will happen in Season 2?
The first season was based on Isaac Wright Jr, who was wrongfully convicted on drug charges in 1991. For Life tells the story of Aaron Wallace (played by Nicholas Pinnock), who wished to become a lawyer but was wrongly convicted in drug trafficking; drugs didn’t belong to him; it was his friends. It a beautiful story with the moral of never give up on your dreams. He becomes a lawyer behind bars, filing cases for other inmates while fighting to overturn his own life sentence for a crime he did not commit.
Season one of For Life finale was on a massive cliff-hanger, with Aaron being given a chance at a re-trial. The series lights up on the challenges and flaws of the American legal and criminal system. ‘For Life’ is more than just a show. It’s a fight of an innocent who had to deal with similar circumstances. He earned himself a license to practice law and rescued himself. Such an inspiring story should be shared and praised.
