The Boss Baby is back. It is a sequel to one of the box office’s greatest hits: The Boss Baby (2017). The initial movie was a DreamWorks Animation film that received nominations for awards across the board, overthrowing delights such as The Lego Movie, and only stopped by the likes of Coco. The film was so successful; it quintupled its budget. Furthermore, it produced its spin-off TV series that is still ongoing today. Despite its strongly mixed reviews from parents loving the simple comedy and anyone with a brain seeing its stupidity, the film was a great success.
Just when we thought it was over, they surprised us with a Second Boss baby movie. This time it is the Boss Baby Family Business. His chubby tiny arms are back. A sequel to this Oscar-nominated DreamWorks Animation movie will release in the coming spring, with the trailer already available.
Premise
The boss baby family business features the Templeton brothers: Tim and Ted, voiced by James Marsden and Alec Baldwin. All grown up and separated from each other. Ted is the company CEO while Tim is a family guy now; he has a super-smart daughter Tabitha voiced by Ariana Greenblatt, and a new cute baby named Tina. However, the story will get quite fascinating, with Tina being a top-secret agent for the Baby Co. with the purpose to bring to light the deep secrets about Tabitha school and its unknown founder Dr. Edwin Armstrong, a rival of Baby Corp, voiced by Jeff Goldblum.
The tough times will unite the separated brothers for a united purpose in very unanticipated ways. Thus, re-discovering the lost meaning of family and its significance. The story will certainly feature some wild events. However, Tim and Ted are grown-ups in the second movie, but not for a long time as Baby Corp has developed a special formula that allows adults to become babies again or, in Tim’s case, much younger for 48 hours.
Why did they transform into babies? Well, that is uncertain for now. However, one thing is for sure: we are going to see the dark sides of cute innocent babies. So, prepare to get your minds blown.
