The series will be available on Funimation’s platform outside of Japan, although the streaming service did not reveal if it will be available for the same time as in its homeland. So, save the date for the premiere of Sonny Boy to see what Madhouse has in store for us.
The story unfolds around 36 young people who, in the middle of boring summer vacation, mysteriously disappear on August 16. But they are not completely gone, because in reality they have been transported to an alternate dimension where they will have to survive with the help of the superpowers that have awakened within them.
