The Netflix platform published a new update through its official Twitter account announcing that the anime Nanatsu no Taizai: Fundo no Shinpan, the last season of the animated adaptation of Nanatsu no Taizai, will arrive in its catalog on June 28. The series will be titled The Seven Deadly Sins: The Judgment of the Dragon.
The series has been broadcasting in Japan since last January 6th and is confirmed with a total of twenty-four episodes, while its international distribution is made through the Netflix platform, which will soon launch globally.
The manga ended in Weekly Shounen Magazine. The manga’s 40th volume of compiled books confirmed on February 17 that the series will end in the 41st volume, which will be released on May 15.
Suzuki launched the work in 2012. The first 24-episode anime series aired between 2014 and 2015. A four-episode anime special entitled The Seven Deadly Sins -Signs of Holy War- debuted in August 2016. The second series of anime debuted in April 2017.
The manga also inspired the film The Seven Deadly Sins the Movie: Prisoners of the Sky, which premiered in Japan in August 2018.
Studio DEEN’s third series debuted on October 9.
