‘Hannah Montana’ Actor Mitchel Musso Arrested for Alleged Public Intoxication and Theft

Mitchel Musso, who was seen in Hannah Montana, has been arrested on the charge of theft and public intoxication after an argument on Saturday.

In addition to this, the Rockwall Police Department said that they found multiple outstanding traffic warrants in his name after conducting a background check. So, the Police cuffed the actor and took him into custody.

Mitchel Musso is best known for his role on the Disney Channel sitcom Oliver Oken, Miley Cyrus’ best friend. The actor was taken into custody on Saturday in Rockwall, Texas.

The arrest was made after an anonymous tip was received about a disturbance at a local hotel. The Rockwall Police Department has issued the same information in a press release.

The 32-year-old actor entered the hotel and took a packet of chips, which he didn’t pay for.

The Police were called to the scene, and as per the reports, when Musso was asked to pay for the chips, the actor started displaying aggressive behavior.

He verbally abused the people around him and left without paying.

Staff members of the food market contacted the Police after Musso’s behavior became intolerable. The Police identified Mitchel Musso outside his hotel.

The actor depicted signs of intoxication, and he was subsequently arrested on two charges: theft of an item under $100 and public intoxication.

Other charges include expired registration, violation of appearance, and failure to display a driver’s license.

Mitchel Musso spent one night in jail after being transported to the Rockwall County Detention Center. After filling the bond of $1,000, the actor was released on Sunday afternoon.

Is this Mitchel Musso’s first arrest?

This isn’t the first time the Hannah Montana show actor Musso was arrested.

The first time he had a run-in with the law was in 2011 when he was arrested for DUI, i.e., driving under the influence. The incident took place in Burbank, California, when the actor was just 20 years old.

As per the reports from People, Musso had a blood alcohol content (BAC) of over 0.08 percent which is the legal limit.

The actor received 36 months of informal probation after he pleaded no contest to the charges.

The 2011 arrest incident impacted his career, which became clear after he was removed from Pair of Kings. Also, his show PrankStars was canceled by Disney.

Musso, after reflecting upon his past mistakes, shared that he has learned that taking responsibility and stepping up are the best ways to move forward.

He said that this learning was an integral part of his becoming an adult. The actor further added that he is thankful to his fans and family for giving him encouragement and support.
