Following the Gundam Conference Autumn 2023 broadcast live on Friday, Bandai Namco Entertainment released a brand-new promo film for Gundam Build Metaverse, the 10th-anniversary animation series for the Gundam Build franchise.

More Details About The Upcoming Anime Series

Some well-known people are on the animated series production staff.  Given the initial concept created by Hajime Yatate & Yoshiyuki Tomino, SUNRISE is the studio in charge of turning this project to life.

The television series capitalizes on Noboru Kimura’s experience in series arrangement, working under the direction of director Masami Obari.

Hirona Okada, Yoriko Goto, & Ippei Gyobu have been in charge of creating the character concepts, while Kunio Okawara,  Takayuki Yanase, Kanetake Ebikawa, Kotaro Ando, Shinya Terashima, Naohiro Washio, meticulously create mechanical elements.

They are taking over as Head Mechanic Animator is Yu Yoshiyama.

Studio Naya is in charge of visual appeal, Wish is in order of color design, and ASAHI PRODUCTION is in charge of cinematography.  Yuki Hayashi created a compelling soundtrack for the show.

Bandai Spirits whereas Bandai Namco Entertainment provides planning assistance, and Sunrise Beyond is responsible for the production. The joint efforts of SOTSU and BANDAI NAMCO FILMWORKS give Gundam Build Metaverse a solid basis.

Rio Tsuchiya plays the part of Seria Urutsuki, while Chika Anzai provides the voice for Rio.

Plot Of The Upcoming Miniseries

The Gundam Build Metaverse series’ new story takes place in a virtual metaverse environment where individuals may move around and communicate with one another via avatars, notably engaging in Gunpla combat. Rio Hj, a child from Hawaii, is the main character of the novel.

Rio learns how to construct Gunpla from Seria Urutsuki, a nearby hobbyist. He learns the skill of Gunpla battling from a character referred to as Mask Lady in the metaverse, and he works hard to improve every day.

He hunts out ever-stronger foes with his modified Lah Gundam. In order to represent the “spirit of Japan,” Rio transforms an Entry Grade RX-78-2 Gundam miniature into Lah, the Hawaiian term for “sun.”

Famous Japanese rock band BACK-ON is going to play the “Hikari no Kaze” opening song for the series.

The collective has performed “Nibun no Ichi” for Gundam Build Fighters in the program’s recurring theme song throughout the series’ beginning.
