It looks like the Olympic gold medalist has discovered some unpleasant facts about the challenges of Celebrity Jeopardy.

She shared her experience on the hit show in an interview with Insider. She said, “I was excited about it! You gotta practice it, and I learned my lesson, so….”

Candace has won two Olympic gold medals, back-to-back national championships, a pair of WNBA championship trophies, two MVP awards, a Defensive Player of the Year honor, and seven WNBA All-Star nods. She also worked as an executive producer for the documentary Title IX: 37 Words That Changed America.

Candace Parker competed against Patton Oswald and Torrey DeVitto on the episode of the hit game show Celebrity Jeopardy. With her appearance in Celebrity Jeopardy, Candace attempts to raise money for a charity called The Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation.

NBA star Kobe Bryant founded the charity as an ode to his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, who was killed in a helicopter crash.

Despite being confident on the show, Candace found Celebrity Jeopardy much more challenging than playing football. She explained, “Jeopardy! is hard in terms of, like, not even answering the question — it’s getting the button,” Parker said. “Like pushing the button is so hard.”

Candace found the game way harder than it had seemed when she was playing alone from the comforts of her living room. Although it was a dream, come actual moment for the thirty-six-year-old football star.

Candace Parker also shared a cherished memory of her childhood in Naperville, Illinois. She recalled, “My grandma and I used to watch Jeopardy! Like every day.”

“It was cool to call her and tell her I was gonna be on Jeopardy!” Parker added. You can stream Celebrity Jeopardy exclusively on Hulu, hosted by The Big Bang Theory actress Mayim Bialik.
