Good Burger 2: Teaser and Release Date, and Everything We Know So Far

The teaser of Good Burger Season 2 has been released. This fall, Good Burger 2 will be coming to Paramount+, and with it, the 90s are back as we are finally getting this long-awaited sequel.

“Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger, can I take your order?” Every individual who grew up in the 1990s is familiar with these immortal lines. In the much anticipated Good Burger 2 sequel to the Nickelodeon classic, they will be spoken again.

Mark your calendars Good Burger 2 is coming in November 2023 to Paramount+. The original film starred Kel Mitchell and Keenan Thompson. They played the role of two friends who worked at Good Burger, which is a fast-food restaurant. This restaurant is under constant threat due to a rival, Mondo Burger.

The teaser is now available as this Autumn will mark the release of the sequel to a cherished 1990s film. Good Burger 2 is directed by Phil Trail, and Zack Olin and Shauna Phelan will direct the sequel. The movie attempts to keep the essence of the original alive, along with providing an exciting and fresh script. The sequel has used the sketch from All That (Nickelodeon show) as an inspiration.

We all have this question in mind about what became of Dexter and Ed. The answer to that question will be revealed along with the release of Good Burger 2. Heath Seifert and Kevin Kopelow wrote the original film along with James III.

The sequel’s story is about Sexter Reed (played by Kenan Thompson) and Ed (played by Kel Mitchell) reuniting at Good Burger’s restaurant. New employees will also be seen, and Ed was the original cashier in Good Burger, which was released in the 1990s.

The sequel to Good Burger was announced in March. The other cast members include Kel Mitchel, Kenan Thompson, Lil Rel Howery, Kamaia Fairburn, Jillian Bell, Alex R.Hibbert, Elizabeth Hinkler, Fabrizio Guido, Emily Hinkler, Josh Server, Anabel Graetz, Carmen Electra, and Lori Beth Denberg.

Nickelodeon Studios produces Good Burger 2, and John Ryan Jr. will serve as executive producer.

About Good Burger

Good Burger was released in 1997 and grossed $24 million with a budget of just $8 million.  2015 Thompson and Mitchell reunited for a sketch on the famous The Tonight Show. On the same show, they both expressed their interest in a new movie. In 2019, Mitchell brought Ed back with “All That” revival.

Brian Robbins directed the 1997 teen comedy movie, and Kevin Kopelow, Dan Schneider, and Heath Siefert wrote it. The film follows the story of a high school student who takes a job at Good Burger restaurant so that he can pay off the damages to his teacher’s car. The original movie was released on July 25, 1997, worldwide by Paramount Pictures. Although the film received mixed reviews from the critics, it still was successful in gathering a cult following.
