John C. Reilly is back on the big screen with an upcoming AI thriller ‘DreamQuil’ film, alongside The Hunger Games actress Elizabeth Banks. DreamQuil follows the life of a woman whose world suddenly turns upside down when her AI robot clone takes over her identity.

Elizabeth Banks will play the dissatisfied mother, Carol, and John Reilly will play the character of her husband, Gary. This movie will be a cautionary tale as our generation is slowly and steadily getting too dependent on artificial intelligence.

The filmmaker Alex Prager explained, “DreamQuil is a way to bring some humanity back into a world hurling towards automation. While we can’t stop what’s coming, we wanted to show one version of the nightmare playing out in all its absurdity – so we can laugh a little as the horror unfolds. DreamQuil explores my favorite theme of identity, and I think of it as a love letter to Hitchcock and Tarantino set shortly.”
